A Muslim man named Zeeshan Khan was passing by the spot when he allegedly used abusive words for one of the BJP leaders and was stopped by the BJP workers and assaulted. He was forced to chant Jai Shri Ram and then made to squat, spit on the ground and lick his own spit. He managed to flee from the spot. 32 year old Zeeshan suffers from bipolar disorder. The incident occurred in the presence of BJP MP PN Singh, BJP MLA Raj Sinha and other leaders. 4 people were arrested and 1 was named by the Dhanbad Police.
