Muslim family attacked for not leaving the village

A lone Muslim family was attacked at 8 PM by the villagers of Kampa Pewda village of Indore by rods which left 5 members gravely injured. The family was told to vacate the village by October 9. Upon refusal, about 100-150 villagers belonging to RSS which is linked with the ruling party of the nation attacked them chanting religious slogan. They even sneaked into the house and molested the women of the family. Police were refusing to file an FIR but eventually filed it after being pressurized by the Congress Spokesperson Ameer-ul-Khan Suri and Congress minority head Irfan Shaikh. But the following morning the police registered a counter FIR against the victim for almost all the same charges. No actions were taken against the accused.
