Local residents disrupt Juma Namaz in Gurugram

Friday prayers were disrupted in sector 47 of Gurugram by local residents. At 1 PM, 30-35 residents came out at the designated location with placards saying ‘Stop namaz at open places.’ The police told the Muslims to pray 150 metres away from the usual place after the objection was raised for the third consecutive week. For over an hour the protestors sang Bhajans and Hymns while the police placed barricades to stop them from coming to the exact place where the namaz was being offered. The residents say that this is an international conspiracy and this is Love Jihad and Land Jihad.
