Muslim Couple’s chicken shop vandalized

Right Wing Hindutva goons vandalized the shop of a Muslim couple after they were told to close the shop on the inauguration of a temple although no order came from the administration. The couple did close the shop at the stipulated time 11 AM but sent two workers in the afternoon to clean. The mob assaulted the workers and vandalized the shops. When the couple reached the place, they were threatened by the members of the Hundutva group that they would not be allowed to live in the town and they also tried to extort the money from them. The police took no satisfactory action and the Hindutva goons kept threatening the couple even after the incident. The couple even donated Rs. 2,500/- for the temple.
