Religious leader who gave call to demolish mosque arrested.

Seer Rishi Kumar (Swami) who is the head of Kali Mutt in Chikkamagaluru, made a video in front of the historic mosque saying the mosque should be demolished. He said the mosque was built over a temple. He urged the Hindus to demolish the mosque immediately. The video was put on his social media account which drew sharp reactions. Swamiji was taken into custody. The court had reserved the judgment for Wednesday (19 Jan 2022).
