About 24 people attacked the shrine carrying swords and canes started beating the priest and the devotee. They also beat the wife of the priest Ayesha. They damaged the walls and the pillars of the shrine and even left a pamphlet saying if anyone reconstructed the shrine, they’d face dire consequences. An FIR was booked against 24 people under section 146 and 295 of the IPC.
