Hindutva mob forced a Muslim man to shut down his juice shop after vandalizing it which he had been running from 15 years. The shop named New Sai Juice Centre was vandalized by the Bajrang Dal saying that Sai is the name of a Hindu deity. The police remained mute while all this was going on and later told the owner that he should “change the name of the shop to avoid further trouble”. The owner was also slapped by the goons. A FIR was registered against the Bajrang dal leader Navneet Sharma and his accomplices under Indian Penal Code 323, 504, 526, and 147. The owner of the shop was also slapped by the goons.
