Muslim family beaten, told to go back to Pakistan

A poor Muslim family was assaulted in a residential colony in Ajmer by 5 Right Wing Hindu men. The victim and his family were constantly slapped and the boy of the victim was kicked on his head while he crouched down holding his head. The goons said, “Go to Pakistan. You won’t get alms here.” The incident led to widespread outrage and caused a major embarrassment to the ruling party at the time - Congress. The group of young men who caught the victim were enraged upon his entry in a Hindu dominant community.
