Men accuse cops of sexual abuse, torture

Two Muslim men were brutally beaten and sexually abysed in the police station after they were taken in for questioning. A man had eloped with a Hindu girl and claiming one of the men brought in for questioning was a friend of that man, the police beat both the men with sticks and cricket wickets. They were made to strip and were told to perform sodomy. Upon refusal they were kicked in the face by boots. Around seven policemen were involved in this horrific crime including the officer in charge of Kadma Police station. The policemen hurled racial and abusive slurs upon knowing the full name of the victims and told them that they’d make this country like Afghanistan and further said they’d be sent to Afghanistan. The two victims upon release submitted a letter with their complaint to the senior Superintendent of Police. The police had said they would look into the matter. A local government hospital that examined Arzoo and Aurangzeb after their detention reported an “alleged case of assault.”
