The head constable Prahlad Dhruve was called to settle a communal dispute after the renovation of a Dargah in Betul district in Madhya Pradesh. He sent the Muslims back home saying he will look into the matter. Believing him, the Muslims left. After that he started instigating communal hatred against the Muslims in the Hindus of that area saying things like, “Why do you trust the Muslims? They are not trustworthy. They bite the hands that feed them.” People became aware of his hate speech after his video started circulating in WhatsApp groups. Once the video went viral, members of Bhim Sena filed a complaint against the officer demanding strict action.
