Reporter forced Imam to chant Vande Mataram

A Muslim cleric was forced to leave his village in Panipat after refusing to submit to Hindu dominion over chanting ‘Vande Mattaram’. In a video that surfaced the internet the Muslim cleric was seen surrounded by Right Wing extremists including a reporter of a local news channel and was constantly pressurrised by the people to say that phrase. They kept asking him why is he refusing to say it, when he lives in India. The Imam tried to explain that they are other ways of expressing patriorism, however that didnt solve the argument. Ultimately he had to resign from his designation as a Imam & leave the village.
