Karni Sena workers stopped interfaith marriage

Members o f Karni Sena allegedly stopped a couple from getting married in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The woman, being a Dalit was wearing a burqa on her way to get married in the court. Karni sena members stopped the couple and took them to the police station accusing them of ‘Love Jihad’. The woman’s father also lodged a complaint against the man for abduction. However the girl said she is marrying the man of her own will. The police said they would look into the matter.
