Campaign is on to boycott Muslim street vendors

Right Wing Hindutva groups have been organising a economic boycott and as a part of that campaign decided to target the fruit vendors, the Muslim ones. The campaign has been started by the members of BJP and Bajrang Dal. A vendor named Rizwan was beaten by the goons with sticks and rods and was admitted in Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital. These Muslim vendors were being called ‘walking cancer.’ The police have failed to take strict action against the culprits and instead of arresting them. It has been reported that the police also has been harassing the street vendors. Sudarshan News, a right wing TV channel also encouraged the campaign calling the vendors ‘Economic Jihadis.’ These poor people were also called ‘Rohingya People’ by these goons.
