A clash broke out in Gir Somnath, Gujarat between the two communities after a minor accident between two bikes. Although the issue got heated up it was later resolved between the two parties. However, soon after people fro both sides clashed with sticks etc. The main market was shut down. Mushtaq Malek lodged a complaint against Ramesh Pakoda, Paresh Sarman, and 24 others. A case was filed by the Gujarat police under the relevant sections of the IPC. Two people got injured in the riot.
