A Bajrang Dal leader was arrested in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly destroying a stone foundation for a water cooler which was donated by a Muslim poitical leader Salman Shahid of Samajwadi Party. He was held at Lodha police station. After that several right wing members held a protest in Ramleela Maidan demanding his release. The man was arrested under section 151 of CrPC (arrest to prevent commission of cognizable offences). Later he was released on bail.
