The national leader of Karni Sena, a right wing Hindutva group was heard in a video making open threats against the Muslims in Nuh, Haryana. He specifically pointed out the lynching of a Muslim man a few weeks ago by Hindutva goons in Mewat. Around 50,000 people from Karni Sena and Bharat Mata Vahini had come to hear his speech breaking the Covid protocols. Surajpal Amu came into limelight in 2017 after announcing a bounty for anyone who can get Deepika Padukone’s head for her movie Padmavat. On June 11, he was announced as the BJP spokesperson for Haryana state.
