Vigilantes attack Muslim shopkeeper in Jabalpur

A Muslim shopkeeper from Jabalpur was stripped naked and dragged by his beard by Hindutva goons. A Hindu woman had come into his mobile shop to get it recharged. At that moment these Hindutva goons barged in his shop wearing saffron scarfs saying that they found the man in a compromising situation with the woman. The incident came to light when the video went viral on social media. The woman in the shop denied the allegation made by the Hindu vigilantes and told the cops not to register any case against the shopkeeper assuring them that he didn’t misbehave with her. His shop was half opened during the lockdown period to repair some unrepaired phones that the customers were asking and the woman entered the shop because it was an emergency for her to recharge. The Hindu vigilantes got inside and closed the shutter and made it look like he was naked in the shop. The police didn’t take any action against the culprits because Shaikh didn’t register any complaint out of fear.
