Quarrel at Cricket Match Sparks Communal Tension

A fight broke out between two young boys where a Muslim boy hit a Hindu boy with a bat which led to a dispute between the communities. Around 200 Hindus ended up in the Muslim community area (locals claim there were a 1000) and caused a riot leading to several injuries and arrests. Police handled the situation and 5-6 people were arrested from both communities. Firdaus Haji (60) suffered serious injuries all over including a sharp hit to the head, Rohit Jat suffered head and leg injuries and Younis Kabadi’s store was set on fire by the mob.
