Usha Thakur, Minister for Tourism and Culture of MP after being asked about midday meals in Madrasas in an interview said, “All terrorists are raised in madrasas, they have turned J&K into a terror factory. Madrasas which can't comply with nationalism, should be merged with the existing education system to ensure complete progress of the society. This statement came days after the BJP government announced shutdown of Madrasas in Assam. Her comments were met with stark remarks and strong criticsm from the opposition.
