Muslim Man Lynched by Mob on Suspicion of Theft

Basith Khan, a 32-year-old man was tied to a tree and beaten for hours on mere suspicion of theft. A video went viral of the incident where onlookers can be seen posing and poking fun at Basith. The perpetrators handed Basith over to the police, who simply took him to the victims home in a rickshaw instead of taking him to a hospital or giving him some medical attention. The family took Basith in a severely injured state to the hospital and he died there. 5-6 people were accused. No information of any possible arrests.
