On 8th May 2020 in Shahpur, Ahmedabad police allegedly broke into innocent Muslim family’s home. They detained and brutally assaulted them for no valid reason. People that suffered included a pregnant woman and a specially-abled kid. From the reports we have at least 29 people were detained from the area. They were booked under various sections of the IPC.
