Police attacked the members of 7 Muslim households who were injured. They also verbally abused them and detained three men. They threw around furniture and plates claiming that they were searching for something. Three men were taken to Kotwali Thana. No FIRs were filed and the men were released the next day. Police claim that the search was done on the basis of suspicion of cow slaughter.
