A Muslim cleric was assaulted by a police officer. He was beaten without any reason. There was an unrest in the area among locals. The perpetrator was suspended by higher official for 6 months. But the locals demanded more from the officials than just suspension. The complaint was filed by Maulana Sabir Qasmi against the officer.
