According to police, some Muslim truckers were allegedly beaten up in Arunachal Pradesh before fleeing to the neighbouring state of Assam all while carrying their trucks. The incident comes after a number of individuals tested positive for coronavirus across the nation after attending a religious gathering at the Tablighi Jamaat's Markaz (headquarters) in Delhi's Nizamuddin last month. They said the incident is likely to have an impact on the supply of essential commodities. According to the statement, their trucks were also damaged in the attack, so they left them and escaped to Assam.
