Mosques set ablaze in North East Delhi

During the three days of chaos that began on February 24 in North East Delhi, Hindutva vigilantes set 14 mosques and a Sufi Dargah on fire. Less than 10 square kilometres of land contains all of them. In this pogrom, Muslim homes and businesses have also been completely destroyed. The following mosques and shrines were burned: Madina Masjid (Shiv Vihar), Auliya Masjid (Shiv Vihar), Tayyaba Masjid (Shiv Vihar Phase 3), Maula Baksh Masjid (Ashok Nagar), Chand Masjid (Ashok Nagar), Mubarak Masjid (Garhi Mendu), Gamri Masjid (Gamri), Me (Brijpuri). Two persons, including Hussain, a 28-year-old inhabitant of Babarpur, were shot.
