Mob attacked and burned madrasa in Delhi

A madrasa was attacked in Delhi at Night. Unknown men forced their way inside the mosque while the Imam and others were inside, assaulting them. “We turned off the lights and kept quiet”, a pupil of the madarsa Anas claims. “We remained silent and only said our prayers as we observed the Imam being assaulted.” “When the police came in, some of the kids fled, while others hid in the room of the mosque. The first attack happened in the evening while we were praying. A group of 30 to 40 men with lathis barged inside while I was reciting the namaz”, said Rizwan. The main gate was immediately locked by the imam, but it served no purpose. 40 kids or more, including Inside the building were Anas and Rizwan. The mosque management committee members began evacuating individuals who were still inside. While some kids ran upstairs, others were downstairs. Rizwan answered, "I took them upstairs and locked them. At first, I considered locking myself out, but I ultimately chose to leave through the back door. I escaped.” At midnight, when the mosque was deserted, there was another assault. "They had already set fire to the children's computer lab and the office. The children's room was burned by the mob after they went upstairs”, according to Rizwan. Where his other companions are remains a mystery to Anas. “Others are missing, while some of their parents took them. Some of them I have not seen around, I hope they are and soon return,” he said.
