Babri Masjid litigant Iqbal Ansari attacked in his house

One of the main litigants in the Babri Masjid dispute, Iqbal Ansari, said on Tuesday that two people physically assaulted him at his home and threatened to kill him if he did not drop the case. His security guards rushed in and protected him from the attackers, who were later arrested by police. Ansari told PTI that a guy and a woman came to his house on Tuesday in the afternoon. Vartika Singh, who identified herself as the woman, claimed to be a professional shooter. They threatened to shoot me if I didn't give up my side of the argument, so they asked me to do so. "They then attacked me, but my security guards protected me."
