Godhra: 3 boys brutally assaulted after refusing to chant Jai Shree Ram

Three teenage men were allegedly severely attacked in Godhra for refusing to chant "Jai Shree Ram." Six men are accused of attacking the youngsters, Hafiz Sohel Bhagat, Hafiz Samir Bhagat, and Hafiz Salman Giteli, with knives on the evening of August 1, 2019. The youngsters were riding their motorbikes through the neighbourhood of Bawani Madhi, which is mostly populated by members of the majority group, around 11 o'clock. Six as-yet-unidentified males are said to have stopped them, demanding to know why they were in the area and demanding that they chant the slogan of Jai Shree Ram. The boys were attacked with knives and some other weapons when they refused. The boys were admitted after suffering severe injuries, including head injuries.
