The assault occurred on Saturday evening while Faisal Khan was leaving his place of employment, according to the complaint he filed. “I rode off on my bike, and after about 100 metres, I came across five youngsters arguing verbally with another youth who was also riding a bike. I tried to squeeze through the side while not paying attention when the men, who were speaking the native tongue, grabbed me and asked my name. They enquired as to the company I was employed by after I introduced myself. When three of them started slapping me, I gave them the address of the company. I somehow managed to get away from the location.” However, the other two men who were present on the spot, again stopped Faisal and beating him up and kicked him. “I took out my belt in defence but they caught hold of it and beat me with it. I left my bike and ran to the company gate. They chased me and beat me up again. The company security guards, instead of helping me, escaped from the spot. Meanwhile, the other three men joined them and forced me into an autorickshaw, took me to a lonely place nearby and again beat me up. They left me there when they were tired.”
