Muslim family allegedly attacked in Aligarh

A Muslim family was attacked while they were on their way to Aligarh. The incident happened in Jattari area, 40 km away from Aligarh. A group of Hindu goons attacked the van of the Muslim family. They got to know that the family is Muslim because the women in the van were wearing hijabs. Fortunately, a Hindu girl was traveling in the van along with the family. She came in between the family and attackers and saved the family from getting beaten to death. Seeing the Hindu woman, the attackers gave the keys of the car. However, the driver’s hands were injured but they managed to reach Aligarh. A case was registered under the sections 147, 148, 323, and 507 of the IPC against the 10 unidentified people and security was tightened around the city after this mob attack.
