25 Year old Muslim man lynched in Bihar

On the 30th of September 2021, the Times of India reported the lynching of a 25-year-old Muslim man, Ajjan Imran. Imran was a native of Sudanpur Village. TOI reported that Imran was allegedly lynched for trying to steal a battery from a tractor. The Incident took place between 1 am to 2 am on Thursday the 30th of September. Pakribawaran Police Station SHO Nagmani Bhaskar said to TOI that the slain youth had gone to Gangti village with the motive to steal but got caught by the villagers and eventually beaten mercilessly. Police rescued Imran and took him to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Contrary to this, the father of the deceased, Jamil Akthar, told Maktoob media that Imran had gone to ask for the borrowed money of wielding, where the perpetrators had taken Imran to their house and tied him and beat him badly. The Father of the deceased had also denied the accusation of theft.
