Locals in Bihar savagely beat a Muslim teacher because he had refused to sing "Vande Mataram" on the occasion of Republic Day. Afzal Hussain, a Muslim teacher, was allegedly beaten by some locals after a fight broke out over the teacher's unwillingness to sing Vande Mataram at a primary school. according to a video of the incident that apparently went popular on social media.
