A mob attacked Asif Majeed Qureshi, 30, a resident of Deshmukhwadi in Jalgaon, as he was purchasing vegetables from the market. The incident happened on Monday night at 8:45. Over six local youths attacked Mr. Qureshi during a casual conversation that turned into a violent argument. Mr. Qureshi suffered serious injuries. Qureshi claims in a video that he was "forced to recite Jai Shree Ram" and that when he refused, they began beating him repeatedly.
