A Muslim cattle trader was allegedly killed in a cold blooded murder in Jammu. Nayeem Ahmad was transporting cattle at 2 am along with Sameer when they were attacked by the BJP and RSS goons. They shot Nayeem thrice while Sameer managed to escape with minor injuries. The daughter of Nayeem said that her father had got threats a few days ago from the BJP and RSS workers to not convey cattle though his village and he did not pay much attention to the threat. When the people got to know about the incident, they started protesting and pelting stones at the police station demanding that the accused be handed over to them. The Army was called to put the situation under control. Police arrested some of the accused after the family identified them. However, the family claims the police still hadn’t arrested the main culprits behind the murder. A case under IP 302, 307 RPC and 3/25 and 7/27 Arms Act had been registered.
