Youth attacked for posting pictures of having beef

A Muslim man consumed beef soup and posted a picture on the Facebook with the caption, “Whatever you say, beef is the best.” This enraged some of the people and the man, Mohammad Faizan was attacked for the post. He was attacked by 4 people who thrashed him with sickles and rods leaving him on the road bleeding profusely. He had to be admitted to the district headquarters hospital in Nagapattinam. Police arrested the 4 culprits.
