Lynched by mob forced to chant Jai Shri Ram

A mob thrashed a Muslim man in Jharkhand. He was accused of stealing a motorbike. He was tied and forced to chant Jai Shri Ram and Jai Hanuman after disclosing his name. The police locked him up in the police station for theft instead of getting him treated. The station in charge also threatened his uncle to break his bones and lock him up if he kept insisting on taking him to the hospital. He died 4 days later in a hospital and only then the police registered a case against the assaulters.
