This incident occured when three members of a muslim family named Mohammad Giyasuddin, Anwarul Haque and Mohammad Tajimuddin were returning from a nearby market after purchasing beef for their family function. On their way back home BSF personnels stopped them and checked their bags, upon finding beef they took them to an OP and assaulted them, while Tajimuddin managed to flee, Giyasuddin and Anwarul were assaulted brutally and later admitted to a nearby hospital. No FIR was registered.
