Driver and Conductor stabbed by Gau Rakshaks

In the night in Ahmedabad's Ramol, unidentified gau-rakshaks stabbed a truck conductor carrying 30 buffaloes from North Gujarat's Deesa to South Gujarat's Bharuch with a sharp-edged weapon. Around 12.30 AM, some unidentified people attempting to block the vehicle claimed to be "gau-rakshaks." Qureshi and Sipai soon observed police on the highway from a distance and halted the truck. He claimed that after two unknown people arrived on a two-wheeler and one of them attacked him with what seemed to be a sharp-edged knife, he attempted to flee out of panic. Following that, he passed out before regaining consciousness at a hospital. About 30 buffaloes were being transported by truck from Deesa in North Gujarat to Bharuch in South Gujarat for slaughter without proper permission.
