Two Muslims beaten to death in police custody

In the Sitamarhi region of Bihar, two Muslim men who had been arrested for interrogation in relation to their alleged involvement in a robbery and murder case last month were tortured and physically assaulted in police custody. The two were apprehended by Sitamarhi's Runnisaidpur police on March 5. They were held at Dumra station where they were tortured to death. The victims died within 20 hours of being imprisoned by the police. All eight of the police officers who were suspended for the murder's involvement have vanished.
