Two Muslims trashed again by RSS mob in Jammu

A group of right-wing extremists brutalised tribal members of the Gujjar minority community on February 25 in Jammu's Samba district. Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdary and Mohammad Ashraf Chowdary, two local tribals, were reportedly on their way headed to their destination when an RSS mob apprehended them in the Vijaypur neighbourhood of Samba and forced them to sing "nationalist slogans." Social media users demanded that authorities take harsh punishment against the perpetrators after a video of the two being beaten and made to chant slogans in support of "Bharat Mata" and against Pakistan went viral. He claimed that since after the incident in Pulwama, the Hindu-right wing groups had been purposefully inciting the local Muslims. The police have taken note of the video and have opened an investigation.
