In Rajasthan a man allegedly assaulted by villagers for fishing near a temple last week passed away from his wounds, The police filed a murder case against unnamed individuals after the incident, but no one has been detained as of yet, according to the report. Azhar Khan, and three other persons were allegedly stopped on their way to the banks of the Ruparel River by unknown individuals, according to the police. Three of them managed to escape, but Azhar was grabbed by the throng and beaten with bamboo sticks. The man was sent from Chittorgarh's district hospital to Udaipur Medical College after initially being treated there. The victim succumbed to death in the hospital 3 days after the attack.
