Mob violence Three men beaten to death over suspicion of cattle theft

Another incident of mob violence, three people were allegedly beaten to death by the locals in Saran, Bihar on suspicion of cattle theft. Villagers caught hold of the men and beat them mercilessly until they died. The family of the deceased have claimed that they were not there for theft of cattle. They went for the purchase of cattle but the villagers caught them and beaten them to death. The Sarpanch of the village informed them about the incident.The three men were taken by the police to Sadar hospital in Chhapra where they were declared dead by doctors.According to the police, the villagers were angry because there had been some incidents of cattle theft in recent weeks.
