Two people attacked for transporting cattle

Two people were assaulted severely while transporting cattle near Karki village. They were attacked by the members of the Bajrang Dal. They were taken to Karwar hospital to keep things away from the limelight but later were shifted to Manipal KMC hospital when the incident came to limelight. The police booked about 100 people and arrested 4 of the accused. The victims suffered severe head and hand injuries. The only crime of the victims was that they were using the wrong type of vehicle to transport the cattle.
