A communal clash broke out during the Muharram procession passing through a Hindu dominated area. A heavy police force was deployed and police had to resort to lathi charge to control the mob after they torched several vehicles. The Muslims tried to pass through the Hindu dominated area without permission. Around 12 people got injured.
