Ram Navami violence in Gaya and Kaimur in Bihar

Ram Navami rallyists became violent in Gaya and Kaimur during the procession. The deliberately entered the Muslim dominated areas and shouted provocative slogans while holding swords in their hands. This created tension in the community. These Hindu extremists purposely targeted Muslim areas with masjids resorting to vandalism and stone pelting. Some shops of Hindus were also destroyed during the communal violence. The clashes in these two towns were minor as compared with other towns and they were brought under control quickly.
