A Muslim driver was transporting meat from Karnataka to Goa. He was stopped in Belagavi on Khanapur road. He was stopped by a Right Wing Hindutva group. They thrashed him. The victim had legal documents for the transportation of meat. The police checked the documents. Later the activists were informed by the police. They were booked for attempt to murder.
