Muslim man assaulted in Police station

A Muslim man was arrested by the Bengaluru police over a minor dispute and was withheld in the police station for two days where he was assaulted by the police constable. The sub inspector was demanding money to release Tausif from his family. He was hit by a cricket bat more than 30 times, his beard was cut off and he was made to drink urine when asked for water. The sub inspector who was guilty was suspended. The victim was taken to Victoria Hospital for the treatment of his injuries on his back and thighs.
