A Muslim man was beaten brutally over the suspicion of cattle theft. The incident happened in Phulwari Sharif, Patna. The victim was trying to untie a buffalo at 3 am. He was spotted by a local who alerted the others. Soon they all reached the spot and caught hold of the victim and thrashed him. Another man who was with the victim fled away. The victim died in the hospital two days later. Police arrested all the 6 accused.
