Village prohibits the entry of Muslims

The police registered a case against unidentified persons for putting a poster mentioning “Muslim traders not allowed inside the village.” The poster was however removed before the police got to the location following a complaint. Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh questioned Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the state police about the poster saying “Is this not against the appeal made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi? Is this act not a punishable offense under our law? Such a division in the society is not in national interest.”
