Hospital Segregated wards for Muslims and Hindus

The coronavirus patients were segregated into separate wards depending on their faith. Yet Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Nitin Patel provided no acknowledgement towards this instance. In Fact they said “Whatever is needed to give people the best possible treatment is being done”. Dr Rathod said, “Generally, there are separate wards for male and female patients. But here, we have made separate wards for Hindu and Muslim patients.” When asked the reason for the segregation, Dr Rathod said, “It is a decision of the government and you can ask them.”
